Gregory Sullivan, President
& Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Sullivan has extensive experience and certifications in Use of Force and Firearm Training. Having trained with numerous Federal, State and Local agencies in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean Mr. Sullivan has accumulated widespread contacts in the field and has built an intimate knowledge of the needs, concerns and decision-making factors of various defence and security organizations with regard to the purchase and deployment of lethal and non-lethal weapons.
Dean Thrasher, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Thrasher is a senior executive with more than two decades of start-up business management skills, mergers & acquisitions, product launches, product development, and funding experience in the technology, wholesale, manufacturing, distribution, retail and franchise sectors, as well as extensive international business and public market experience. Dean has run and managed several private companies as well as a TSX-Venture listed public company. His previously tenures include being Chair of both private and public companies, as well as holding a seat on the Board of Directors of these entities.
Rakesh Malhotra, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Malhotra has been SDI’s Chief Financial Officer since January 7, 2007. A United States Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Canadian Chartered Accountant, Mr. Malhotra graduated with Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from the University of Delhi, India, and worked for A.F. Ferguson & Co., the Indian correspondent of KPMG. Having practiced as a Chartered Accountant for over ten years in New Delhi, Mr. Malhotra moved to the Middle East and worked for five years with the International Bahwan Group in a senior finance position. After moving to Toronto, Canada, Mr. Malhotra served as Vice President of Finance for a private group of companies, CFO of various public corporations and continues to consultant for public companies.
Allen Ezer, Director, Executive Vice-President
Allen S. Ezer comes from just under a decade of financial services experience with a tier 1 chartered Canadian Bank. He has specialized in counseling sophisticated high-net-worth clients with complex wealth management solutions including tax minimization, estate / business succession planning, strategic insurance structures and offshore banking. Allen has been responsible for the development and implementation of asset allocation models for affluent client accounts, though has also focused on equity/debt research, high net-worth marketing as well as business development initiatives.
Mr. Ezer holds a directors postion with Goldspike Exploration, a Yukon focused gold exploration company. Additionally, Allen is also a director with Cambrian Corporation. Mr. Ezer obtained his Honours in Criminology and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications at University of Windsor. Allen also acquired his degree in Corporate Communications at Seneca College @ York University.
Gunner Couce, Director of Training
Overview
• Police officer for 20 years. Excelled as a team leader of the Tactical (SWAT) Unit.
• Planned, organized and executed hundreds of tactical operations, including raids, hostage
takings, victim rescues, close protection and witness protection.
• Certified Use of Force instructor, Firearms Instructor and Tactical Team Instructor.
• Recognized International security expert in the area of securing/defending Nuclear Power plants.
• Consulted in the oil industry in southern Iraq, where he has done due diligence investigations on
security companies and he has consulted on threat and risk assessments in the area.
• Holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and a diploma in Advanced Police Studies, as well as
Advanced CPTED & Anti-Terrorism Course, University of Louisville
• Awarded the Federal Medal of Bravery and the Police Exemplary Service Medal.
Jake Myers, Global Sales
Mr. Myers spent 10 years in the United States Army which included sixteen (16) consecutive months in a combat and Security role in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his tenure in the Army Jake gained vast experience in various weapons systems including the use of non-lethal weapons and projectiles which he actively deployed during his tour of duty in Iraq. In addition to his actual use of force experience, Mr. Myers has completed several rigorous training programs in multiple schools and locations while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. One of these Schools was the Military Police school, giving him a broad range of exposure to various levels of Use of Force in the 21st Century. Since his honorable discharge in 2005, Mr. Myers has combined more than 7 years of experience in government contracting with his military experience, securing a variety of significant contacts within the Lethal/Non-Lethal Weapons and Munitions Industry, and accumulating a broad knowledge of industry needs and requirements. Jake’s base of operations will be in Tampa, Florida.
